They're definitely in the -100 star side of the spectrum. 1 star is too kind for their quality performance. I'm surprised Vanilla Visa is still in business. Seriously, how can someone mess up on someone's birth year when verifying information. THEN comes the, "oh, you're cutting out, I can't hear you" BS, then silence for a good minute, then call disconnects. Then tried to get in contact with customer care and waited over an hour just for someone from the other side of the world who barely spoke any English answer and try to help me but got put on hold for another 5-10 minutes, only to tell me the same thing about my birth year being invalid. Tried activating the new card over the phone and was asked the usual numbers but when asked for my birth year, it said it was invalid after inputting. Had to wait over 3 months to get my stolen card to be replaced. Got sent a new card (even though I requested a refund via check) because my original one was fraudulently used. I once again said I didn't make the charge and want to stop the charge and report the card stolen.Utter waste of time, get gift cards elsewhere I explained what happened and was told there was no money on the card that I had spent it at some company that I never even heard of!! I told her I did NOT make that purchase and I literally just bought the card! Was told it was a pre authorization hold and she read me a scripted saga about waiting a week for the hold to fall off. Drove 4mins down the road to get a coffee for myself and daughter and my card was declined, I said try again which they did, declined AGAIN! I then pulled into the parking lot and called the number on the back of the card and after 36 minutes someone finally answered. I’ve had my vanilla card for nearly 3 months and I’ve never had a problem with it. Got in the car, set the card up, checked my balance and was good to go. Good service, excellent customer service, no other company is been help me in past like vanilla card. Purchased a $20 Vanilla Visa today from CVS at 2:30pm. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CARD under any circumstances and please share this post with as many people as you can to show the truth of what is really happening I believe the only true way is class action lawsuits against Incomm to shut them down, all roads lead to Incomm using visa prepaid vanilla debit cards. or Sutton Bank, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Vanilla Visa Gift Cards are issued by TBBK Card Services, Inc., MetaBank, N.A. This is a constructed scam of monumental proportions that no one seems to address. Vanilla Gift does not accept payment methods with addresses from the states of AZ or NM for orders equal to or greater than 1,000 within a 24-hour period for Gift Cards or Business Gift Cards. Anywhere you buy it including Walgreens, is not responsible The bank doesn’t exist, the money used is out of the country. Visa has zero to do with it except there name is on the card. To make them seem like a legit company All the super complex ways of customer service is by Incomm. Those who cause enough stir on the news or web. They only settle with enough claims to keep the scam going. Does anyone here else see a pattern? Incomm financial is stealing the money and using hackers as an excuse. Which appears by this forum that means sh!t From the absolute beginning of customer service and to the quickness of the funds depletion means they are hooked in the system somewhere obviously. Customer service emails me a blank form-( just after giving her my info over the phone)-asking for the same information to proceed with a case. For 500$ Which is online gambling, Which is based in Austria. I was told my account was used at betmgm. All the numbers from visa customer service lead to the customer service of the number on the back of the card. I called Vanilla to complain and after waiting the 120 days and dozens of calls they disputed my claim. The card was still in the packaging and in my possession. When I went to use it this past November there was a 2.40 balance. Everyone is complaining online in other forums. My brother bought me a 500.00 Vanilla gift card from Walgreen's on. Incomm has 5000+ complaints just on the BBB website. So I contact visa looking for the Sutton bank that the card provides which exists in Ohio, not Georgia where Incomm financial exists that holds the cards funds. Customer service is gauntlet of useless promps and people that cannot speak a lick of understandable English. Checked the following day and money is gone. Was declined every time I tried to activate the pin after 24 hrs.
